Macquarie Aerospace Rover Society

Build a rover with us

Macquarie University students from every degree design, build and test a competition rover together. No experience needed.

What we do

Learn engineering by building a rover

Members take WALLY from CAD model to field test, and run the sponsorship, media and events that keep the society going.

Backed by the Space Research Network and Macquarie University.

  1. 01

    Design

Model parts in CAD, plan circuits and write the software that drives the rover.

  2. 02

    Build

Fabricate the chassis, make custom circuit boards and wire the power system.

  3. 03

    Test

Drive the rover on rough ground, find what breaks and fix it before competition.
